Class 9 Computer Science — Complete notes in English and Urdu
System software is a type of computer software that is designed to manage and control the computer's hardware and provide a platform for running application software. It acts as an interface between the user, the application software, and the computer hardware. System software includes the operating system (OS), device drivers, utility programs, and firmware. The operating system is the most important type of system software, as it manages all the computer's resources, including memory, processors, and storage devices. Without system software, the computer would not be able to function properly.
