The system unit is the main component of a computer system. It is a metal or plastic casing that contains the essential electronic components of the computer. The system unit houses the motherboard, CPU, memory, storage devices, power supply, and other components. It is responsible for processing data and executing instructions. The system unit is also known as the computer case, chassis, or tower. Without the system unit, the computer would not be able to function. External devices like the monitor, keyboard, and mouse connect to the system unit through ports and connectors.
