❓ Understanding Question Words — Question words (أدوات الاستفهام) are essential for asking questions in Arabic. They help you gather information about people, places, things, time, reasons, and more. This lesson covers all the essential question words with their pronunciation in Urdu and English.

💡 Key Rule: In Arabic, question words typically come at the beginning of the sentence. For yes/no questions, the particle هل (Hal) is used at the beginning of the sentence.

✅ Yes/No Questions

Yes/No questions in Arabic are formed using the particle هل (Hal) at the beginning of the sentence. The answer is either نعم (Na'am - Yes) or لا (La - No).

هل أنت طالب؟
